In The Beginning
Day minus two
I bathed in the cool air of the Burlington Mall today. I couldn't stand another day of heat and sticky white walls. I am strictly forbidden to buy anything, which is difficult to do with 4 hours and a myriad of inviting store. But I feel I have behaved, considering the torture I endured, and have come home with only two camera lens cap holders and one notebook journal. I have made a prediction that the first casualty of this trip will be the lens caps. The holders are merely there to prolong the inevitable.
Well, the time has come to disassemble my computer. John is beginning to nag. So I must sign off here. From now on we are operating in manual mode only. John will occasionally add his entries to this journal as well.
Until Saturday then, bon voyage.
