Blue Light Special

The time has come when John and I must consider selling our van. We have decided to start advertising now so as to avoid being stuck with a vehicle that won't fit in the overhead bin on the flight to Hawaii. We will slap a 'For Sale' sign in the window today with a note to inquire within or leave a number, then drive north through Yellowstone and west to Seattle in hopes of a bite. If need be we will settle for a dealer price in Washington.

That was the plan.

8:10am: Draw up 2 signs over breakfast and duct tape them to the side windows.

9:00am: Drive into Jackson Hole to do laundry.

10:30am: While laundry is drying, notice note pinned under windshield blade. "Two doors down, see me about van"

11:01pm: Show van.

5:30pm: Return for test drive.

5:45pm: "I'll take it"

So much for plans.

We'll have a deposit on monday and deliver the van in three week. Just enough time to see the Tetons and Yellowstone.

Who said selling a car takes time? I'd estimate only about nine hours.

SOLD!
